Jeramiah Gandhi, Administrator
With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Jeramiah has focused his studies in this field with the intent of a lifetime dedicated to serving those in need. Jeramiah has a total of 11 years dedicated service with the Missouri Department of Health in the MR/DD division. While in school earning his degree Jeramiah worked full time as a direct care assistant so he has a distinct insight into the needs of both consumers and staff. In the last 5 years, Jeramiah has shown himself to excel as a Habilitation Specialist, supervising staff and supporting individuals in their community. When you talk to staff Jeramiah has supervised you will soon learn that he is "the person to go to" when problems need solved. He has a can-do attitude and the competency to back it up.

Donna Gandhi, Director of Nursing Services/Quality Assurance Officer
Donna has shown herself to be a professional with a heart for people earning a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and is a Registered Nurse. She is dedicated to learning and experiencing all she can as to be an integral part in bettering peoples lives. Donna is the kind of person that excels in any undertaking she accepts. Being "the best" isn't something she strives for, it is an inherent part of who she is. While in her senior year of earning her degree she was awarded the prestigious Valor Program. A nomination for this program is given to only 4 students a year, to actually be awarded the program is an honor given only to those proven to be among the incomparable. Donna truly is a professional with a heart for people.

Ron Millstead, Director of Residential Services/Quality Assurance Officer
With 13+ years working with the public and 12 of those years in a management position, Ron knows how to treat people to achieve the greatest goals. As the captain of a volunteer fire department, he learned to use comraderie, respect and an open heart as well as an open door, when dealing with all people. Then after years of working in retail, Ron finally discovered his true calling when he befriended a young man with a serious disability. Their friendship was strengthened when he gave this young man a chance to feel empowered by offering him a job. Ron saw this man's potential and minimized his disabilities by treating him as a valued employee. Putting people first is intrinsic to Ron's nature.

Christine Millstead, Director of Human Resources/Director of Services
With 20+ years of experience providing services to persons with a variety of disabilities in long-term care and community-based settings, Christine is armed with a firm commitment to home and community based services which is coupled with a unique perspective on how these services should be delivered. She will ensure that services provided far exceed expectations. As the recipient of the prestigious Carol Harris award, given by the Missouri Chapter of the American Association of Mental Retardation, professional peers and families of persons with disabilities have characterized her as an advocate, a facilitator and someone who proves again and again to be outstanding in providing supports and empowering individuals with disabilities. Christine truly believes there are no limits if we choose to always expand our horizons.

Expanding Horizons will provide quality, on-going services in a home-like environment for persons with developmental disabilities. Our program is based on treating people with respect and dignity. The philosophy behind our beliefs is that all persons have certain rights and choices and should be seen as individuals first. All individuals have a right to personal identity and our goal is to continually and tirelessly strive for people to respect themselves as well as others in job, home, and community. To achieve this, all individuals must be seen as worthy human beings and at Expanding Horizons this is our mission, from clientele to staff our goal is to provide a rewarding enviroment that puts people first.
